If you need high quality prints that are suitable for clients or customers, you'll want to replace your cartridges as soon as you notice they're running low. This will avoid the fading, discoloured, or streaky prints that are typical of the end of the cartridge.If the printouts get a little weaker - usually first in the middle - it helps to remove the toner cartridge from the machine and shake it gently back and forth horizontally. The remaining toner powder is then evenly distributed. Often 50 to 100 pages can be printed afterwards. At least that is what our experience shows.
